I’m so excited to bring you some peeks into the brand new Stampin’ Up catalog! Just released this new catalog runs from June 1st 2016 to May 31st 2017 and contains loads of new wood mount, cling mount and photopolymer clear stamp sets, pattern paper sets, new In Color Collections, metal die cuts, punches, Project Life collections, embellishments, embossing folders, all inclusive kits and more! There are themes for summer like ocean fish, pineapples and flamingos, travel, outdoors and animals like foxes, deer, birds, dogs and cats, lots of floral and gardening, several masculine sets, fruits and beverages, feathers, alphabets, sentiments and much more. Styles range from sweet to sassy to elegant to realistic and whimsical. You’ll also find page after page of amazing card, scrapbook page and home decor, gift wrapping projects and inspirations.
I’m having so much fun working with some of the new Stampin’ Up products! For my first card sample I used the frog from the Love You Lots stamp set, using my ink pads to water color him and die cutting it using a scalloped circle die. I layered that onto a piece of pattern paper from the Blooms and Bliss Designer series paper, adding the clouds, rain drops and words from the Weather Together stamp set. A note about the Love you Lots set, this set is only available for those who host a Stampin’ Up party and earn rewards. So if you’re in love with this set gather some friends together and call your local Stampin’ Up demonstrator.
For my next card I used the fun Jar of Love stamp set, this set has 3 different sizes of Mason jar with sentiments, bows, a handle, lid and fun things to fill it with like a fish, flowers and bugs. I stamped the medium size jar, the lid and the handle and die cut each using the coordinating Everyday Jar Framelits dies to cut them out. Inside I stamped a few of the little fireflies, adding some outside the jar. I also tied the handle with some twine. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and pattern paper is from the 2015-2017 In Colors Designer Series Papers.
For this last card I used the Weather Together stamp set, this set has several umbrella designs, presents, clouds, rain and sentiments, perfect for making baby or bridal shower cards, get well or feeling blue cards too. I stamped the main part of the umbrella on a separate piece of cardstock so I could cut it out and pop it up and to tuck the presents inside. The pattern paper is from the Blooms and Bliss Designer papers, I folded down one corner to show the back side and I also added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels here and there too.
I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a look at just a few of the new items available in the new Stampin’ Up catalog. Check back soon for more samples and inspiration in the coming weeks. If you’re interesting in looking at the new catalog or placing an order you can do so at Stampin’ Up online or contact your local demonstrator.
