April 26, 2017 by Heather Holbrook

Review and Giveaway: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit for April

If you’re looking for paper crafting inspiration Paper Pumpkin is here to inspire you and bring creativity to your door each and every month. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription kit brought to you by the folks at Stampin’ Up.

And this month is super special because Stampin’ Up! CEO, Sara Douglass has designed the April Paper Pumpkin kit!

When you sign up you’ll get a box full of everything you need to complete multiples of that months project along with an instruction sheet and a link to an on-line video tutorial. Kits might include things like a clear stamp set, blank cards and envelopes, ink pads, stickers, embellishments, washi tape, twine and more. In most cases scissors are all you might need to complete the projects, a clear stamping block will be included in your very first kit.

This months kit comes with all you need to make 4 each of three styles of cards including paper with embossed designs, water color paper, card bases, envelopes, a mini ink pad, a clear stamp set, stickers, washi tape, acrylic embellishments, a paint brush, adhesive and bonus mini water color pencils. Wow, there’s a lot in this kit! And I love the bold black and white with bright pops of colors on these cards!

For the 3 cards shown above I followed the kit directions. For my alternative card I made an all over water color rainbow pattern and cut out a few shapes from the larger resit papers and used them for embellishments.
