Product Review: Stampin’ Up Blendabilities Markers (with lots of samples)

May 1, 2014 by Heather Holbrook

For awhile now I’ve been sitting on a new product that I’ve been dying to share with you and now I’m so excited that I finally can!

product review: stampin up markers

Starting today Stampin’ Up will be releasing the first in their brand new line of markers called Blendabilities! The Blendabilites markers are alcohol based markers , they are acid free, have a square barrel so they don’t roll off your table, have dual tips (a fine tip bullet and a brush tip) and they come in some really yummy colors! Each color set contains three markers, a light, medium and dark shade of the same color and this makes for really easy and simple blending and gradation of color. The first 6 colors available today are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Coasta Cabana and Rich Razzleberry. When the new Stampin Up catalog comes out on June 1st 6 more marker color sets will also be available. Each color set of 3 markers will retail for $11.95 and there is also a Color Lifter marker for $4.95. The Color Lifter is sort of like a clear version of the markers that removes color, it’s great for making fun designs and patterns on already colored areas and I found it helps with “erasing” small mistakes too.

Product Review: Stampin' Up Blendabilities Markers

All my card samples were made with Stampin’ Up stamps and were colored using the Blendabilities markers. I love the double tip, the bullet is perfect for coloring into small areas and the brush tip makes it quick to color in larger areas. Having 3 shades of the same color made it so easy to get a look of shading and dimension and the colors all layer and blend together so well.

Contact your Stampin’ Up rep today to try out the first sets of these great new markers (find a rep here if you don’t have one) or order directly on-line from Stampin’ Up. And be sure to check out the new Stampin’ Up catalog on June 1st for more colors and information on the Blendabilities markers.

FYI: Blendabilities are only available to Stampin’ Up! demonstrators right now. They won’t be available to customers until sometime after the new annual catalog comes out.
