Review and Giveaway: Stampin' Up Valentine's

Stampin’ Up has recently released some fabulous new products for Valentine’s Day! There are two adorable stamp sets available in either wood or clear mount, a lovely large heart stamp, printed cards with envelopes, patterned treat bags and cute monster candy holders. Everything you need to make cards and treats for friends, family, co-workers, teachers and your kids friends and classmates too!

freebie and review: stampin up valentine's

For my first project (shown above) I used one of the 12 pre-printed Sweet Sayings cards and stamps from the Love You More set. I stamped the bird directly on the card in blue and again in pink on white cardstock, I trimmed off the heart and wing and added them with foam tape. I also masked off the arrows and stamped only the words onto the card. I then tied some of the twine from the treat bag set around the card and added a button.

For this fun treat bag I stamped the Eiffel Tower onto cardstock, taking a marker to draw a flag pole at the side and added the flag from the same set. The words from this set fit perfectly onto the tags that come with the treat bags. I folded over the top of the bag, punched a couple of holes and tied some of the included twine around with my tag.

This last project is super cute and super fast! The Monster Hugs candy holders come pre-printed along with sticker hearts and googly eyes with arms ready to wrap around a treat. The kids will love giving these away! They come in blue and pink styles, 18 in each pack.

And one lucky Craft Gossip winner can win a set of blue Monster Hugs treat holders, simply leave a comment on the post and I’ll pick a winner on Jan. 22nd. One comment per person please, US residents only.

Also be sure to check out the new Occasions Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up, with wonderful new stamp sets, ribbon, dies, embossing folders, kits, embellishments and more just in time for spring!
