review and giveaway, diy kits from SRM Press

If you’re looking for a quick and easy but adorable way to package up treats or small gifts for a celebration then look no further than the DIY Kits from SRM Press! With themes like Princess, Easter, Birthday, Wedding, Baby and Graduation each kit contains everything you need for making 12 fun party favors. Each kit is unique and contain items like muslin bags, clear shaped boxes and glassine envelopes to be decorated with the included twine, stickers, die cut shapes or doilies. It takes just a few minutes to assemble each one and you’ve got a wonderful favor to pass out to guests at any party.

I made the cute purse favor using the Princess Party Kit, I love that the kit comes wrapped in a pretty box, it’s like getting a gift in the mail. I folded the clear plastic purse together and filled it with my own pink Easter grass and candy (not included) and then wrapped the pink cardstock strip around the purse, sealing it with die cut shape and sticker in the back. Then I layered the precut scalloped die cut shapes, adding a sticker on top, adhered it to the purse (the kit even comes with glue dots), added a sticker to the white cardstock strip, trimmed the sides to points, adhered that to the front and then tied a big twine bow around the purse handle. The favors were very easy and fast to put together and would make any little princess so happy!
