Halloween is almost over and surprised to see I’m not finding many great stamped Thanksgiving projects out there. Everyone seems to be skipping right into the winter holidays already. So….if you’ve got a great Thanksgiving project tutorial that includes stamping please consider submitting to me here at Craft Gossip. Submitting to The Stamping Blog

Here at Craft Gossip we get lots of submissions for posts and to help you better understand what we are looking for we now have a new guidelines page. But I also wanted to let you know what I’m personally looking for to publish here on the stamping blog.

For tutorials, tips, techniques and projects I’m looking for clearly written detailed instructions with good photos or videos, they don’t need to be professional but a fuzzy, dark photo or hard to understand directions just doesn’t cut it. Also be sure it’s instructional not just a picture of your project with a supplies list. I’m also looking for what’s new, the latest, greatest and hottest ideas, if I’ve posted about a similar technique or project before I’m probably not going to post about it again. Please be timely, don’t submit about a contest the day before it ends or send me Halloween projects in June.

For professional businesses I’m looking for your cool new stamping/paper crafting products and new stamping lines. I’m also open to doing product reviews and giveaways. If you own a digital stamp store and have freebies I’d love to feature those as well. I’m also interested in posting about stamping challenge/ sketch blogs, on-line classes and on-line magazines.

Lastly and this might be seem obvious but please submit items that contain stamping (be it actual or digital images) though I do occasionally feature ideas with general paper crafting or card making I’m looking for stamping to be the main focus.

I have always created all my own gallery samples to preview my designs and kits for sale so working with a Design Team will be a new experience for me. Since this is my first call, I have no idea what kind of response I will receive so I have left the closing date open for now, but a Design Team will not be chosen until after the New Year and the DT Term will hopefully start Feb 1, 2011.

Design Call: The Greeting Farm Stamps

The Greeting Farm is looking for cards made with their stamps and if they pick your they’ll send you a stamp of your choice!! Here’s what they have to say about the Card for Stamp Drive:

What is it: TGF is looking for cards to showcase at tradeshow and etc and will to give you a free stamp for every card that is selected.

What to do: Email us any new or existing cards (or altered items) that you have created with TGF stamps this year to thegreetingfarm@gmail.com with subject heading: CARD for STAMP. You can submit as many cards as you want. The TGF staff will be going through all emails and selecting cards they like from all the submissions. For every card that is selected, we will be trading one single stamp. So for example if you submit 10 cards and we choose 7 cards from it, you will get your choice of 7 single stamps! Nifty right?

Card Rules: Card must be made this year. It can be made using TGF rubber or digi image. We are looking for any TGF images! As well as keeping a keen out out for any Creeper cards or OA cards since we don’t have many of those onhand. But any Anya, Ian, Wild Sprout, Cheeky, etc are always a good bet.

How do we know if our card(s) is selected: We will be contacting you through email if any of your cards is selected.

What do we do if our card(s) is selected: If any of your cards is selected, we will contact you for your choice of single stamp or stamps if we choose more than one card. We do require you to send in your card(s) prior to sending out your stamps to you. We encourage you to add delivery confirmation to ensure that your card(s) reach us. Unfortunately we are not responsible to for lost cards in the mail, that’s why we hope you put some sort of tracking or etc to make sure that your card reaches us.

Deadline: No deadline. This is ongoing, at least through the end of this year!

With our launch of the new and improved DeNami Design blog, we are looking to expand our design team! We have two challenges each month (it may be a color challenge, sketch, theme or product) and on the third Wednesday of each month we will feature specific stamps/ stamp set. We require that each design team member participate in each of these events.
