Page maps, sketches, templates what are they?

 Morning everyone:

We all need a little inspiration sometimes. In those times I turned to sketches and templates.
Whether you are making cards or scrapbooking, there are a plethora of of inspirations out there and blogs dedicated to sketches and templates.

What are sketches? sketches are blue print of a design that you can use. You can use it the way it is or you can adjust them to your liking. They serve as a base to create.

Sketches are very easy, start with a piece of paper and draw your inspirations. You can take it a step further and create them in Word using boxes and shapes.

Page maps are the same thing just called a different name.

Templates are sketches that have been done into a graphic program that makes creating a card or a scrapbook lay out very easy.The design is created in a graphic software and you can use it to add your papers and pictures and in less than a few minutes your creation is done.

You can take it a step further after printing your card you can trace the outlines with a pen and use perfect pearls to accentuate the card.

    I sell 2 page templates and have a blast making them! I love how 2 coordinating pages look next to each other in my scrapbooks and a lot of people have told me they like that too, but have a hard time making them. HENCE…my templates! LOL :)
